Back on the Radar of the Day: Kim Dotcom is Back with MEGA
The founder of MegaUpload Kim Dotcom unveiled his new private online storage service MEGA (what a surprise!) with a banging launch party at his mansion in New Zealand over the weekend. Befitting his flamboyant reputation, Dotcom appeared on stage with a group of female dancers in military uniform and even staged a fake FBI / counter-terrorism police raid afterwards. Meanwhile, the news of MEGA’s launch drew several thousands of new signups per minute, reaching a head count of 250,000 users in the matter of few hours.
